The executors of the estate of Chandra Fernando, a regular member of the Holy Trinity, Amberley congregation, have donated two pictures to sell to raise money for the ‘Access for All Appeal’
Both are by well-know local artists. The first is by Reverend Mike Tucker who was the priest here in Amberley for many years. It is entitled “Receding Green”. It is 51cm by 66cm and is acrylic on canvas.
The other picture is a watercolour by Joan Bestwick who for many years taught at Amberley Parochial School. It is of a bandstand, possibly in Stratford Park. The frame is 53cm by 43cm.
A third picture has been donated by Pauline Vennard, a well-known local artist. It is entitled ‘Sunset over Nympsfield’ The frame is 30cm by 60cm.
If you wish to bid for any of these pictures, please place the details of your bid and your contact details in an envelope with the name of the picture ‘Receding Green’, ‘Sunset over Nympsfield’ or 'The Bandstand’ on the outside of the envelope. These must be delivered to The Rectory, Amberley by noon on Thursday 30th September
